G r o o v e L i l y E – N e w s # 5 5

We are so excited to get out and PLAY again. We haven’t gone this long without a gig since we started the band over a decade ago … so come join us on April 26 in Maplewood, NJ and April 27 at Joe’s Pub in NYC!
Brendan and Val got to attend the official press opening of TOY STORY on April 10, and were thrilled to be mentioned in Jon Lasseter’s curtain speech. Check out photo and video coverage in #2 below.
On the cruise ship, their 2 1/2-year-old son Mose fell in love with Woody and Buzz, whom he had previously known only from the artwork imprinted on his diapers. Full blog coming soon; meanwhile, happy spring, everyone!

4. Just For Fun: The Korean Gene Lewin?

Our friends Paul and Storm, who never fail to find the best stuff on YouTube, sent us this link. We think you’ll find yourself mesmerized by this truly Gene-esque drummer:

5. Is Your Name Denyse? We’ve Got A Free CD For You

Going through stuff in the basement, we ran across an original “Little Light” CD autographed “To Denyse.” (Apparently we misheard someone’s name at the merch table after a gig sometime in 2001…)
If this happens to be your name, or if you’d simply like to own this pre-personalized copy of one of our older albums, let us know and we’ll hook you up.
