One of my favorite things about the interwebs is the way that things keep changing and getting (mostly) better when you’re not looking.
Case in point: by following a few links today, I discovered a world of GrooveLily pages out there, most of which I had never even heard of. If you have a moment, stop by, check out some of these new internet hothouse flowers and smell the lilies:
- The whole world of iLike.com, and the iLike GrooveLily page
- Mog, which seems like a fascinating music-oriented world unto itself, and our GrooveLily Mog page, with a coupla choice reviews by somebody named Nimby
- Our presence on the awesome internet radio phenomenon Pandora, complete with relatively up-to-date songs, and woefully out-of-date allmusic.com guide bio of us…
- a baby, very beginning of a presence for us on imeem–anybody wanna step in and help out?
- A cursory search on Facebook today turned up our own Facebook page (which I built and have sadly neglected for months), but also
- GrooveLily (petal pushers anonymous), for our wonderful street team
- another group called “GrooveLily has a special place in my heart,”
- and finally, our “iLike” GrooveLily Facebook app page, which is pretty nifty–lots of streamable audio and a lovely interface.
If anyone finds anything GrooveLily-related out there that they’re particularly excited about, drop me a line at brendan (at) (the name of the band I play in) dot com.

Hi Brendan,
I discovered these added links a few days before you did, and really enjoyed them. GrooveLily is my Homepage, so I’m usually one of the first to discover anything new there.
However, I’m still waiting for the ‘Archived Previous Gigs’ page to be updated. The gigs quickly disappear from the ‘Upcoming Gigs’ list after they are played, but they never get transferred to the ‘Archived Previous Gigs’ page.
My computer lists gigs from Joe’s Pub, April 27, 2008… to the Panzer House Concert, June 25, 2005… nothing before, or after.
Is it just my computer, or does everyone see this as the total of Archived Gigs?
You know I love you guys, so I’m just trying to point out what appears to be an oversight here.

hey ed!
i’m sorry to report that i havent been able to reproduce what you’re experiencing. also, and i don’t in any way mean to demean your continued diligence on the issue of our previous gigs page, but with all due respect and gratitude to you for being such a die-hard supporter of us and our music, i must submit that fixing this issue is pretty low on our to-do lists.
if you can duplicate the problem on another computer, maybe with another browser, then we’ll have more data to work with.
hope to see you at a show soon!
I eat my words–I fixed everything and found the time to do so. Now, back to eating bonbons and filing my nails…
