Ordered mine first thing this morning… even before the website and e-mail alerts arrived. Can’t wait to hear it.

Sorry I couldn’t make it to your concert in Phoenixville… but, one of my friends from the Lansdowne Folk Club made it, and said it was great.

It’s good to see a little action on the Discussion Board again… especially another amazing review from Charles.

Hope to catch another one of your concerts sometime. Take care.

What a delightful album! I’ve downloaded it from iTMS, and it’s really enchanting.

I’ve posted an on-line review. I hope the album release brings you lots more fans, and the renown you deserve!

    Peace. – Larry (Columbus OH)

To quote Steve Martin: wonderful, wonderful, most wonderful, and again, wonderful.
One question (maybe it’s really two): what happened to the late-Elvis “Wakeup Call For Love” (by Shannon in the show), and “Take It Back” (queen to bad fairy)? Not enough space? Didn’t like how they came out? At least one inquiring mind wants to know :)

Hey Jim – so glad you like the album! “Wake Up Call For Love” (which was actually sung by Kevin in LA, with his back slyly turned away from the audience so he could have eye contact with Troy who was signing…) has been cut from SLEEPING BEAUTY WAKES – it just doesn’t have a place in our current version. However, we love the song and think it’s lots of fun, and are offering a free download of our home demo to everyone who signs up on our email list at our shows. If you are already ON the list and would like to hear the song, shoot me an email (val at groovelily) and I’ll send you the link!
“Take It Back” was also cut – our entire ending is different now, and the Queen sings a different song to Beauty, which is “Wheel Goes ‘Round (reprise)” – track 17 on the CD.

What an enjoyable album! Love it!

My review can be read here:

I placed it opposite the Disney version for the sake of comparison.
