Hey folks.
Due to a miscommunication between us and an unnamed third party, we’re not currently able to let the over 20,000 people who attended Sleeping Beauty Wakes in 2007 know about our upcoming show at Largo on Wednesday, October 7. We were, as you can imagine, counting on being able to tell all 20,000 of them about the show, and expecting that at least a couple hundred of them would make time on a Wednesday night to come see us perform the score live in the town where the show started.
Sadly, not so much. Consequently, we have sold approximately thirteen (13) tickets so far. Yet, we remain hopeful, and we are endeavoring to be as resourceful as possible, reaching out to friends and family and friends of friends like we used to do back when we toured in Val’s ancient 2-door Mazda in the mid-nineties. Feels like old times, and it feels good, especially with the response of help and suggestions from dear friends like Paul and Storm.
Here’s the deal: if you live near LA, come see us at Largo on October 7th. If you don’t live near LA but you know somebody who does, someone you think would dig us, email them about the show. Buy a ticket ahead of time by calling the club at 310.855.0350. Here’s the money-back guarantee part: anyone who comes and doesn’t enjoy themselves may hereby tell us about it, and we’ll personally refund their money, no questions asked. Stipulation: you actually have to stay till the end, and you have to meet us at the merch table after the show and tell us to our faces. But we’re serious about this, and there will be no hard feelings.
