Department of Gratitude: We found ourselves in a bit of a tough spot a couple of weeks ago, when we were unable to contact the over-20,000 people who had seen SLEEPING BEAUTY WAKES in its initial hit production in LA.
Lacking this ability to access these thousands of SBW fans, we had no way of filling the lovely venue where we were scheduled to perform a concert of the SLEEPING BEAUTY WAKES songs (Largo at the Coronet). THANK YOU so much to all our friends who emailed, tweeted, re-tweeted, Facebooked and told people about the show (some standout helper-outers were Paul & Storm, David Rodwin, Jonathan Coulton, Felicia Day, Georgia Stitt, Matt Almos, Dee Dee Irwin, Wendy at Goldstar…); the end result was a crowd which, though not huge in number, was nevertheless MIGHTY and quite splendid. We will be back, and are tremendously grateful for all who loyally stepped up to attend.
