Are there any fellow petal pushers in south Florida and are you going to the concert at Miami Dade? From one of the listings I think it is open to non students, but I am calling first. I discovered Grovelily in the NC mountians and got to see them at Hearts Desire house concert..it was really like they were jamming in their living room..they were great! |

Pam, We have one Petal Pusher in Miami, but they did not responded to invitations to work the shows (i.e., Miami and Homestead). Let me know if you are planning to make the drive south and are interested in helping at the merchandise table. The information that I previously received from Kate Magill (the booking agent) was that the show is open to non-students. --Rob |

The show at Miami Dade Community College was fantastic..of course..and they played to a full room to a really appreciative group..from applause to wolf whistles.I thought the whistles were for Val but after a song by Brendon there was diffently some female admiration in the audience going on. Since there was a half hour break for GL to set up after the poetry reading I was afraid we would lose some of the group but a delivery of free pizza kept some and then others appeared lured perhaps by the fantastic poster the school had up with Val featured almost lifesize. One new admirer was thrilled to get to take the poster home since GL decided it couldn't withstand van life. Another new admirer had contacts that she was going to talk to to help promote GL! Maybe there is Petal Pusher potential in that group. Here is a list of the songs from Val's notes (I don't have time before work to look up the complete names and I don't want to accidently rename them..I know them by their track numbers!) Breathe Shannon Balancing Gotham Believe Raindance Fence Weight Looking Forward Coming Home Mango Cup Control Nemesis Bag Phantom I am looking forword to seeing GL again on the cruise and maybe this summer I can find a concert within driving distance of North Carolina or Ohio. --Pam |

- Gotham (City Breakdown)
- (Can You) Believe <I LOVE this song!>
- Raindance <from "Inhabit My Heart">
- Weight (of the World)
- Looking Forward (/Looking Back)
- Coming Home
- Mango - not the fruit! (The Man is Gone)
- Cup (Overflowing) <from "Jungle and Sky">
- (You Take?) Control <if so, wow, another personal fav>
- (Little) Nemesis
- (No Room in Your) Bag
- Phantom (Lover)
