Perhaps everyone else already knew this but I just found Brendan & The Extenuating Circumstances at Barnes and Noble (www.bn.com). It appears to be in stock and I ordered a copy. I also checked Amazon (www.amazon.com) and found Brendan and The Extenuating Circumstances, Inhabit My Heart, and Jungle and Sky. The first two are in stock and the last one is only available on the used market. I do not know what the chances are but I put in a bid for it. I will cross my fingers. If all goes well, I will have picked up two out of print GrooveLily CDs. :-) |

But... did it work? Did you get them? Were they REAL or a GrooveLily cover band impersonating the real 'Lily? |

Chuck and all -- I've posted this before but its always worth another plug. If you want to find an out-of-print or hard to find CD, check out www.gemm.com It is a fantastic tool; I found Jungle and Sky from a place in Scotland!! It is a fantastic website! But, do they have coolDaddy Gene as a webmaster? I think not!! Dave |

Going by memory, this is what happened. I had already ordered and received the Little Light and Inhabit my Heart CDs from the GL website. These are the two CDs available at the site. For some reason, one day, I checked Barnes and Noble and found Brendan and the Extunating Circumstances so I ordered this and received it reasonably quickly. Then I found Jungle and Sky at Amazon. However, it turned out not to be in stock so it was referred to their resellers and such. I put in a market preorder. While I was waiting, I got the word that the place to go was gemm.com. I checked it out and I believe gemm.com is a great site. I highly recommend it. I found Jungle and Sky. After a couple weeks or so of waiting for Amazon to find the CD, I cancelled the order and placed an order with gemm.com. I received the CD shortly thereafter. I had the good fortune to find and order these 4 CDs (from various places) plus the nutshell CD. Even so, it is obvious that supply is short. I looked on ebay and did not find anything. Good luck searching Nette!! |

Chuck, I guess timing is everything. I went through Amazon for Jungle & Sky, and got a response within 2 days, and the CD within a week. Meanwhile, I ordered a CD by another artist through Gemm.com, and haven't received confirmation from the reseller after a week. Regardless, I can now erase my Jungle & Sky mpegs, and focus on the CD. (Now, if the Sampler or Folk Appetizer ever show up again, I can toss the CD I burned of them ) JimG |

Jim, I think it is problematic ordering these CDs from any place other than www.grovelily.com. Let us know if the Sampler and/or the Folk Appetizer ever shows up. I hadn't even thought to look for those. Chuck (Could this be the post that bumps me up to the next level??? ) |

I just got my copy of Brendan & The Extenuating Circumstances from BN.com today. It only took about 6 days... which is somewhat of a long time for BN... but the CD is awesome! So heartfelt and emotional. You can really tell how much Brendan missed Val... now if only he could train my fiance to express himself like that whenever I go away. Oh what am I saying... a Hallmark card with the words "I missed you" and his name signed is enough for me right now! |
