It's more about the DoD ad campaign itself but Lonna found a one-page article in Direct Newsline (one of her marketing trade papers) about which some of you might be curious. It mentions Val in passing but not Groovelily. You can read the text of the article online. The printed version of the article also had two small, uncaptioned photos in one corner: one showed the shot of Val with her army boots overlaid, the other was a shot of the doctor who was part of the print campaign.
Certainly seeing the band show up in strange places as a result of this campaign!

What I want to know is, why didn't the Department of Defense run the GrooveLily ad during the Super Bowl? I could have well done without the "trained" dog and "musical" horse.

My roommate thinks he has heard "Prayer for the Unrequited" somewhere, but doesn't know where. Does anyone know where this might have been? E-mail the answer as I rarely have time to check the threads and I don't know how often they are updated. Send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
