Well, if I have to be the one to start the discussion...

The show at Passim was more of a technical nightmare than the one at Fez, largely due to the extremely small stage...but it was SO MUCH FUN! These girls in FRUiT know how to put on a great show, and they involved us in theirs, while we involved them in ours....two encores, and way, way, way too much fun. If anyone who was actually in the audience would be willing to write about it, it would be terribly valuable. My position from the stage is always skewed by my proximity to performance and technology, so...anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Brendan,

Although I didn't attend either of those 2 shows, I did go to see FRUiT at the 4W5 Cafe in Wilmington, DE on Friday night. I had never even heard of them before, but saw that they had opened for you guys 2 nights in a row, so I
thought they must be good.

You're right... they were really Great! Great energy, harmonies, and talent. They also said that you guys were great, and really enjoyed working with you.

I'm sure someone will post some comments on your show at Passim... let's hear from someone out there!

Sorry, I can't add to the thread regarding the performance itself, but did want to take the opportunity to thank Michele and Nate for the pre-show promotional efforts.

Thanks!

I guess that flowers(lilys) and FRUiT complement each other. Diane and I are going to see FRUiT perform at the Susquehanna Music and Arts Fesival, near Havre De Grace Maryland this Sunday May 9 th. Their web site is www.smaf.info

I see that GrooveLily and FRUiT will be together again in Dayton, OH--my old stompin' grounds.

Sorry for the delay. I was out of the country shortly after the show for 2 weeks. Brendan this was the 2nd time seeing GL at Passim. It was small the first time but adding 4 more to the stage was a trick. However both bands pulled it off in such a fashion that it was a lot of fun had by all. Both bands invited the other to joined them onstage for an un-rehearsed rendition of each others music. Quite the Jam session. Great job. I enjoyed it and no complaints from the other 8 in our party.
Keep rockin'
Steve
