Hi Adam,

I've marked Saturday, July 15th on my calendar. It's been quite some time since I've seen V/B/G as themselves... though I loved them in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', and 'Striking 12'. Let the wild rumpus begin!

Lonna and I will be there for at least the Saturday show (possibly the Friday as well).

So is there any talk of a Lilyfest in connection with this concert, H-m-m-m?

So the show tonight, since there's only one. . . is it only a 45-minute set still?

From the gigs page:

We're returning to one of our favorite NYC spots for two nights! We'll be playing 2 45-minute sets each night.

So? How were the ARS Nova gigs? We couldn't make it :-(, but were there in spirit. Songs? New stuff? Announcements? Anything? Bueller?

Bueller... Bueller? Bueller's sick today.

Hey Jim... the Saturday show was fantastic, and I hear that Friday's show was great too!

They did selections from Wheelhouse, Waking Beauty (which were new to all of us), Midsummer Night's Dream, and Striking 12. Then they did numerous of the favorite GrooveLily numbers.

I didn't take notes, or think to grab the set list, but David & Lonna, and Peter & Bev were there Saturday evening. Perhaps they will provide more insight. Waking Beauty is going to be fantastic. It also has three levels of action, sort of like Striking 12.

Wheelhouse will be fantastic to, when it's completed. As Val said, "Look for it somewhere, sometime!" That's as specific as she got.

Val looks as slender as she ever has, though Mose is preventing her from getting as much sleep as she would like. He also likes to pull out little fists full of her hair. Of course, Gene had an obvious solution for that.

All in all, you missed a couple of fantastic shows, but perhaps we'll see you in Sellersville.
