Yup, it’s different! The one in the body of the film is in 4/4 with no swing, and lots of real orchestra. The one at the END of the film is swung, with lots of synths and drums, and that’s the version on the soundtrack.

Beautiful, obviously heartfelt song… like something Stevie Wonder might’ve written, in his prime (& there are few if any higher compliments, in my book) — & yes, fine guitar-work by Gene, & wonderful, fittingly sparse arrangement. When Val comes to comfort: so personal, yet universal… tears. You folks are quite talented — has anybody ever told you that?
